Our Purpose

Developing the Most Confident, Skilled, and Productive Healthcare Teams While Improving Access to Care

Healthcare leaders are facing ever-increasing market pressures requiring them to evolve, innovate, or be left behind. These pressures include:

Increased Demand for Primary Care Providers: An aging population and more complex patient needs are increasing the demand for primary care. APPs in this space face high burnout, limited support, and growing responsibilities as the healthcare workforce shifts toward value-based care and greater autonomy.

Providers Opting for Specialty Practice and Sub-Specialization: Many APPs are leaving primary care in favor of specialty and sub-specialty practice, drawn by higher pay, lower burnout, and stronger team-based care models. This shift is contributing to the growing shortage of primary care providers.

Top of Licensure Practice & Scope of Practice Expansion: APPs are being asked to offer more services across specialties. State laws are changing, allowing providers to expand their practice and the services they can perform. States are expanding licensure, causing more variability in APP expectations and strategies.

ThriveAP is partnering with healthcare leaders to solve these challenges.

Since 2012, ThriveAP has partnered with employers and fellowship curriculums to deliver comprehensive education and support for advanced practice providers (APPs) as they transition into clinical practice. We've since expanded to include upskilling courses for experienced APPs, ensuring continued development throughout their careers.

In collaboration with academic partners, our curriculums blend mentorship, peer community, and a dynamic, live or asynchronous curriculum that improved clinical confidence, quality care, and provider retention.

ThriveAP helps organizations attract, train, and retain top-tier nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician associates (PAs), while offering participants over 100 hours of CE/CME, expert mentorship, and real-world skills to manage today’s complex care environments. Employers also gain valuable, data-driven insights to track success and strengthen workforce strategies.

How It Works

Our programming achieves three key objectives:

Empower employers as they attract, hire, train and retain NPs and PAs.
Address gaps and standardize knowledge and skills of the APP workforce.
Support providers to become more proficient, productive, and confident alongside their healthcare team.

Our programming spans five core products that fill educational gaps wherever a provider may be in their professional journey.
