Since its inception, ThriveAP has comprehensively addressed the growing demands of the APP workforce, adding over a dozen specialty course curriculums for Transition to Practice, as well as introduced targeted upskilling for APPs anywhere in their career.

Transition to Practice

Our industry leading 12-month curriculum uses best-practice approaches to help employers accelerate the application of clinical skills amongst APPs by translating educational training topics into real-world practice.

Our year-long curriculum provides a rich educational experience with 90-minute faculty-led, immersive, virtual courses held weekly and includes:

  • 46 live, weekly classes, consisting of 60 minutes of didactic content and 30 minutes of professional development
  • Rotation through 10 unique curriculum blocks
  • Expert instruction from board certified, practicing faculty
  • Access to live, dynamic workshops
  • Use of elite learning management system (LMS) to manage and deliver curriculum
  • Flexible virtual programming that integrates with work schedules

Upskilling for Experienced APPs

Targeted clinical education for APPs builds confidence and competence in specialty-aligned areas of practice.

Each of the 9 courses features:

  • At least 10+ hours of asynchronous learning material focused on targeted, specialty-specific education for experienced APPs.
  • Baseline examination followed by a post-curriculum examination to assess the knowledge gained.
  • CME/CE awarded upon completion, specific hours depending on curriculum.

In one study, a client who completed the curriculum had an average 56% increase in baseline assessment scores from curriculum start to completion.
