ThriveAP+ has an opportunity for a highly motivated NP/PA to match with a facility located in the southeastern quarter of New Mexico. This primary care clinic is a highly supportive place to start a career in family practice. The matched NP/PA will provide primary care to patients of all ages, focusing primarily on the adult population at a clinic is committed to providing the best integrative healthcare possible for patients and their families. They emphasize patient education and help teach their patients how to become proactive in their health care. The ThriveAP+ participant will have plenty of support from other providers, and participate in our ThriveAP curriculum, but must also be ready to learn to work in a rural setting where access to specialist can be scarce. We can’t imagine a more robust foundation to kickstart your NP career!
While you will work full-time in the clinic, you’ll also be able to experience all that this area of New Mexico has to offer. Located in a city diverse in cultural arts and outdoor adventures, the area is a popular town for tourists from all around the country, with ample restaurants, museums and an even a theater district.
This location does have 4 very distinct seasons, where winters are cold, but sunny, and snowfall is a common occurrence. Spring and Fall are mild and usually warm with an occasional chill. Summers are hot and the temperatures are no stranger to 100+ degree weather.
